The Wetterline™ Permeate Pump is specifically designed for low water pressure applications (30-50 psi is considered low water pressure), like well water homes for example, where a standard reverse osmosis system would not operate or would be extremely slow. The permeate pump fills the water storage tank up to 4 times faster and conserves up to 85% more water than a standard reverse osmosis system. The permeate pump does this by using the energy of brine (waste water) to pump permeate (purified water) into the water storage tank.
